It is due to this ability that Emotional Intelligence helps better reason out with coworkers, supervisors or customers for handling pressure situations, making important decisions and resolving conflicts. High Emotional Intelligence is linked to better stress management and strong leadership qualities. 

Communication Skills

Communication Skills form part of essential skills in the job industry. Take for example the profession of a doctor. A doctor needs to have excellent hard skills to diagnose the health condition of a patient and prescribe immediate treatment. Soft skills to are required of a doctor because a doctor needs to communicate well to the patient about her or his medical condition.
